Can I store perfume in the fridge?

You can, and in a hot climate like the UAE a dedicated cool spot or wine fridge (around 10–15°C) can extend a fragrance's life. Avoid the freezer and avoid constant moving in and out, as repeated temperature changes do more harm than steady cool storage.

Why has my perfume changed colour or smell?

Darkening or a slightly sour top note usually points to oxidation from heat, light or air exposure. The base notes often still perform well. Going forward, store the bottle sealed, cool and dark to slow any further change.

How long does an opened bottle of perfume last?

Stored properly, most opened fragrances stay beautiful for three to five years, and richer oud and amber compositions can last even longer. Poor storage — not age alone — is what shortens a bottle's life.

My atomiser stopped spraying — what do I do?

First, remove the cap and pump a few times to clear an air lock. If it is still stuck, rinse the spray head in warm water, dry it completely and refit. Forcing a clogged nozzle is the most common cause of a broken pump, so be gentle.
